This beer is very smooth and I have found using only 3/4 cup of priming sugar is too little sugar for carbonation so I increased the quantity to 1 cup. This a fine tasting and easy recipe for stout lovers.

Boil Water to loosen contents in Black Rock Stout Kit. Boil 1 gallon of water. When water boils add the kit, barley and hops (use a steeping bag to reduce sediment). Boil contents for 30 minutes. Cool wort and add yeast. After secondary fermentation bottle and let stand for two more weeks. The beer tastes best after 6 weeks. You may add more barley for a dryer taste.
