All beers sampled at the brewpub, August 1995.

Gold Rush American Pale Ale * *
Blandish, medium bodied, not much in the way of malt or hop.

Red Nectar American Amber Ale * * *
No assertive hop presence. More malty than hoppy, but not a malty beer at all. Esters present, with a clean finish.

Oat Stout Oatmeal Stout * * * 1/2
Poured under Nitrogen. Creamy, full bodied, smooth, oily. Nice chocolate/coffee notes. Some crystal notes present. A tad too smooth, could use a little extra something to get into 'excellent' range.

Blackcherry Stout Fruit Stout * * 1/2
Syrupy cherry nose. Cherry flavor in middle, dry finish. I would speculate that fruit extracts were used.
